07Why Collectors Want It

  • Aquapolis (2003) was the second e-Card set — its H-numbered Rare Holos were a separate Rare Holo subset, short-printed vs. base cards.
  • Aquapolis holos are notorious for poor PSA 10 gem rates (fragile foil + e-Card scratching), so gem supply is genuinely thin.
  • PSA 10 figures (~$2,250) realize ~28× raw — one of the largest grading premiums on a non-Crystal Aquapolis card.
  • Beloved by e-Card era completionists and Electrode-line collectors alike; trades hands less often than the price implies.

08Competitive Playability

Tier: None

Stage 1 Electrode with 70 HP; top attack around 30 damage. Functions as an evolution-chain piece rather than a tournament attacker.

09Card Moves and Abilities

Ability: Super Dynamo

Once during your turn (before your attack), if Electrode is your Active Pokémon, you may flip a coin. If heads, choose a Lightning Energy card from your discard pile and attach it to 1 of your Pokémon. This power can't be used if Electrode is affected by a Special Condition.

Swift Cost: Lightning + Colorless · 30 damage

This attack's damage isn't affected by Weakness, Resistance, Poké-Powers, Poké-Bodies, or any other effects on the Defending Pokémon.

10Grading and Population

PSA 10 estimate: Modern Common/Uncommon — most copies are not graded because raw value rarely justifies the fee.

Aquapolis 2003 Rare Holo subset; PSA 10 supply is thin (low print + fragile foil). Realized PSA 10 ~$2,250 (PriceCharting, May 2026), ~28× raw.

Other graders: Negligible BGS/CGC submission volume.
