07Why Collectors Want It

  • Skyridge (2003) was the last WotC-era (e-Card) set and is famously short-printed; its reverse holos are scarce vintage chases.
  • At ~$222 it ranks among the top Alakazam prints, behind the Base Set holos and the Skyridge #H1 holo.
  • Skyridge's tough print run makes high-grade reverses genuinely hard to find.

08Competitive Playability

Tier: None

Stage 2 Alakazam with 100 HP; top attack around 30 damage. Functions as an evolution-chain piece rather than a tournament attacker.

09Card Moves and Abilities

Ability: Energy Jump

Once during your turn (before your attack), you may move an Energy card from 1 of your Pokémon to another of your Pokémon. This power can't be used if Alakazam is affected by a Special Condition.

Psychic Cost: Colorless + Colorless + Colorless · 30+ damage

This attack does 30 damage plus 10 more damage for each Energy card attached to the Defending Pokémon.

10Grading and Population

PSA 10 estimate: PSA 10 Gem Mint realizes ~$788 (PriceCharting realized, May 2026).

Low Gem-Mint population — Skyridge reverse holos are short-printed and grade tough.

Other graders: PSA dominates; limited BGS/CGC volume.
