Zorua #570

Zorua — the Tricky Fox Pokémon, the tiny mischievous Dark-type baby fox that grows into Zoroark. Star of the 13th Pokémon movie (Zoroark: Master of Illusions, 2010), one of the most prominent anime-promoted Pokémon of the BW launch wave. The line gained a Hisuian Zorua (Normal/Ghost type from PLA) and an N's Zorua character-card variant in modern Scarlet & Violet promos — both layered with serious card support that makes Zorua's catalog one of the deepest pre-evos in early Unova.

01Top 10 Notable Zorua Cards

Zorua's Top 10 is unusually deep for a pre-evolution — the 2011 BW Black Star promo leads at $40, the 2025 White Flare Illustration Rare is right behind at $38, and the 2024 Shrouded Fable + 2019 Hidden Fates shiny + N's Zorua character card all sit above $10. Five distinct chase tiers driven by promo scarcity, modern alt-arts, and Zoroark-line fan demand.

The 2025 throwback chase. White Flare's Illustration Rare gives the tricky baby fox a painterly modern showcase — full-art portrait, sitting almost dead-even with the BW promo flagship as the line's modern collector pick.

Shrouded Fable was the August-2024 SV-era mini-set built around the Loyal Three / Pecharunt myth. Zorua got a Special Illustration Rare slot here — the modern SV-era painterly alt-art treatment that landed Zorua a $21 mid-list spot.

Zorua shiny from 2019's Hidden Fates Shiny Vault subset (#SV25) — the SM-era shiny-collection set, the predecessor to Shining Fates. A clean shiny print of the tricky baby fox, a quiet long-tail collector pickup.

N's Zorua from the Scarlet & Violet promo run — part of the modern wave of 'this Trainer's Pokémon' character-themed cards reviving BW-era villain antagonist N. N's signature Pokémon was Zoroark, so N's Zorua is a sentimental pickup for anyone who remembers N's storyline.
