Weepinbell #070

Weepinbell is the awkward middle of Kanto's carnivorous-plant line — a bell with a leer, evolved past Bellsprout but not yet the Victreebel anyone actually wants. Its cards follow suit: a couple of legitimately scarce e-Card and gym prints up top, then a long drop into bulk.

01Top 10 Notable Weepinbell Cards

Weepinbell's ceiling is set by the 2003 Aquapolis reverse and the Erika Gym Heroes prints — the only cards here with real scarcity behind them. Below that it's nostalgia and set-completion territory, ranked by verified sold price.

Rank 02

Weepinbell — FireRed & LeafGreen #51

The 2004 FireRed & LeafGreen set rode the Kanto-remake wave, and its reverse holos have aged into quiet sleepers. This Weepinbell is one of the line's better modern-vintage prints — affordable but steadily climbing as the reverse-holo-of-a-common crowd works through the set.

Erika's Weepinbell — Gym Heroes #48
Rank 03

Erika's Weepinbell — Gym Heroes #48

In Gym Heroes (2000), Weepinbell joined Erika's Celadon roster as a non-holo rare, a step up from the common slot most of the line lives in. The gym-leader 'ownership' gimmick plus genuine rarity makes this one of the most collectible Weepinbells out there.

Rank 04

Erika's Weepinbell — Gym Heroes #49

A second Erika's Weepinbell from the same 2000 set, this one the common-slot version rather than the rare. It's the budget way to own a piece of Erika's grassy gym deck, valued by collectors who want the artwork without the rare's premium.

Weepinbell — Jungle #48
Rank 05

Weepinbell — Jungle #48

The original 1999 Jungle Weepinbell — the one that came in the packs everyone tore through chasing Flareon and Vaporeon holos. It's a first-generation common worth a few dollars purely on nostalgia, the line's living link to the WotC schoolyard era.

Weepinbell — Base Set 2 #64
Rank 06

Weepinbell — Base Set 2 #64

Base Set 2 (2000) recycled Base and Jungle into a single 'best of' set, so this Weepinbell is effectively the Jungle common reissued. A dollar card, useful mostly to collectors building the oddly-overlooked Base Set 2 checklist.

Weepinbell — Legends Awakened #127
Rank 07

Weepinbell — Legends Awakened #127

By Legends Awakened (2008) Weepinbell was deep-bulk filler, printed in one of the biggest sets of the Diamond & Pearl era. There's nothing scarce here — just a clean, sub-dollar copy for anyone running the full line.

Weepinbell — HS—Triumphant #53
Rank 08

Weepinbell — HS—Triumphant #53

HS Triumphant (2010) closed out the HeartGold & SoulSilver block, and Weepinbell slotted in as a routine common. It's a pocket-change card whose only real job is filling the modern half of a Weepinbell binder page.

Weepinbell — Legend Maker #47
Rank 09

Weepinbell — Legend Maker #47

EX Legend Maker (2006) was small and holo-dense, but its plain commons like this Weepinbell were never the draw. Worth almost nothing loose — though, as with most Legend Maker commons, a pristine reverse-holo parallel is quietly scarcer than the price implies.

Weepinbell — Furious Fists #2
Rank 10

Weepinbell — Furious Fists #2

The most modern card in the line, from 2014's Furious Fists. This Weepinbell is a current-era common with crisp print quality and zero scarcity — the bottom rung, included to show just how long Kanto's weed has stayed in rotation.
