Tranquill #520

Tranquill — the Wild Pigeon Pokémon, middle stage of the Pidove → Tranquill → Unfezant line. The teenage in-between phase of the pigeon-to-pheasant evolution — slightly fancier plumage, slightly grumpier expression, not quite the showy adult form. A standard middle-stage route bird with a thin catalog and a single real chase.

01Top 10 Notable Tranquill Cards

Tranquill is a thin middle-stage list — the 2025 Black Bolt Illustration Rare leads by a 16× margin over the next card, and everything behind it sits firmly in bulk. A wide reprint history across BW, XY, SM, SWSH, SV-era sets means there are a lot of Tranquills out there; almost none have ever broken the dollar floor outside the modern throwback chase.

Emerging Powers was the late-2011 first-real-expansion follow-up to Black & White. Tranquill's reprint here is the strongest of the bulk-tier Tranquills — a launch-era Uncommon with the cleanest 'classic' card the line ever produced before the Black Bolt throwback.
