Seismitoad #537

Seismitoad — the Vibration Pokémon, the fully-evolved final form of the Tympole line, a hulking Water/Ground frog covered in pulsating tubercles that emit damaging ultrasonic waves. The line's real flagship — Seismitoad-EX was one of the defining XY-era tournament Pokémon (the Furious Fists print with Quaking Punch + Hypnotoxic Laser locked entire format decks out of attacking and won real Worlds-level events). The 2025 Black Bolt special-art is now the priciest card in the whole #501–540 Unova stretch.

01Top 10 Notable Seismitoad Cards

Seismitoad's Top 10 is the deepest list in the entire batch and one of the strongest in early Unova. The 2025 Black Bolt special-art (numbered past the printed set total) leads at $200 — a true grail-tier modern chase — with the two 2014 Furious Fists Seismitoad-EX prints right behind ($25 full-art + $5 standard). Both Seismitoad-EXs carry real competitive pedigree from one of the most-feared decks of the entire XY era.

The full-art Ultra Rare Seismitoad-EX from August 2014's Furious Fists. Quaking Punch + Hypnotoxic Laser made this card one of the most-feared decks of the entire XY era — it locked opponents out of playing items, and the Seismitoad-EX deck won real Worlds-format tournaments. A genuine competitive grail, and historically the line's strongest chase before the 2025 throwback.
