Sceptile is the payoff of the Hoenn grass line, and unlike its evolutions it has a genuinely deep run of premium cards — an early-2000s 'ex,' a Delta Species variant, a Mega EX, and a modern GX. The forest lizard has quietly built one of the better value stacks among Gen-3 starters.
