The throwback chase. The 2025 White Flare Illustration Rare gave the entire Unova starter line a fresh modern crown — and Samurott's version leads the catalog by a wide margin. Full-art, painterly, and the headline card any Unova collector is hunting today.

Samurott's Top 10 is the most collectible stretch of the entire Unova-water line, and the Hisuian regional form does most of the heavy lifting. The modern 2025 White Flare Illustration Rare leads, but right behind it sits a dense stack of Hisuian Samurott V and VSTAR cards from 2022's Astral Radiance (the Legends: Arceus tie-in set) and 2023's Crown Zenith Galarian Gallery — plus a couple of 2011 Black & White Holos for completeness.
Crown Zenith was the January-2023 farewell to the Sword & Shield era, and the Galarian Gallery subset gathered some of the prettiest alt-art chase cards of the entire SWSH run. This Hisuian Samurott V is a full-art portrait of the brooding Hisuian samurai — a clean, dramatic alt for one of the line's most-loved regional forms.
