Pyroar is the Royal Pokémon — the Fire/Normal fully-evolved form of the Kalos Litleo line, with the famous male/female sexual-dimorphism split (male Pyroars get the full mane, females get a sleeker design). In TCG history, Pyroar is best remembered for the Flashfire "Pyroar lock" — its Intimidating Mane Ability blocked attacks from Basic Pokémon, locking out almost every XY-era deck.
Pyroar's chart leads with the Paldea Evolved Illustration Rare at $17, then the Steam Siege BREAK at $3.64. The Flashfire holo at $0.72 still carries historic weight as XY-era's most-feared anti-Basic-attack lock card.
Pyroar's Illustration Rare from Paldea Evolved #200 is the line's modern flagship at $17 — a wide-illustration alt-art from the June-2023 SV-block set, with Pyroar in a regal lion-king pose. Paldea Evolved's IRs are considered the prettiest of the entire Scarlet & Violet block, and Pyroar's slot leans into the Royal Pokémon design.
