Pansear #513

Pansear — the High Temp Pokémon, second of Unova's elemental-monkey trio (the Fire-typed half-pint with a flame-tuft on top of his head). The signature partner of Chili, the fiery middle brother of Striaton City's three-gym-leader triplet — anime fans remember Chili and Pansear's hot-and-bothered routine well. Like the rest of the trio, almost everything in Pansear's catalog is bulk; the modern White Flare throwback chase is where the line found its first real spotlight.

01Top 10 Notable Pansear Cards

Pansear is the bulk-iest of the monkey trio's first stages — a 2025 White Flare Illustration Rare leads at the top, but everything behind it sits under $1. The XY Black Star promo and Kalos Starter Set print form a thin secondary tier, and the rest is decade-old BW and XY commons in the dollar-or-less range.

An XY-era black-star promo Pansear from 2014 — distributed through XY-era prerelease kits and blister packs. A solid 'oh, they made that?' pickup for promo-line completionists; nowhere near the chase tier but the cleanest non-Illustration-Rare Pansear in the catalog.

An XY-era 2014 Common reprint — Pansear appearing in the Kalos-launch set, a typical off-generation Common in an XY-era expansion. Clean illustration, bulk price.

Pansear in the 2013 Kalos Starter Set — the gift mini-collection released alongside XY for new-player onboarding. Small-distribution starter-product printing, which keeps it a tier above the booster-pack commons.

Noble Victories was the November-2011 third Black & White-era expansion. Pansear's reprint here is launch-era bulk — the kind of early-Unova Common that filled binders without ever filling tournament decks.
