Drilbur #529

Drilbur — the Mole Pokémon, a small Ground-type powered-drill mole that looks like a child's drawing of a kitchen power tool given legs. The first stage of one of Gen 5's most genuinely defining competitive lines (Drilbur → Excadrill), and a Pokémon whose entire body design philosophy is 'spin the head and arms, drill straight through the earth'. A pre-evolution to a true competitive flagship, with a thin but meaningful catalog.

01Top 10 Notable Drilbur Cards

Drilbur's Top 10 leads with a strong top two — the 2025 Black Bolt Illustration Rare ($6) and the 2012 McDonald's Happy Meal promo ($4.70) — and everything behind it settles into BW-era and XY/SM/SWSH/SV-era bulk. A clean two-tier structure: modern chase + Happy Meal nostalgia + a long bulk tail.

A 2012 McDonald's Happy Meal promo handed out the year after Drilbur's English debut. Holo-foil, usually creased from kid-handling, but clean centered copies trade well above the asking price — the only Drilbur that meaningfully competes with the Black Bolt chase.
