Archeops #567

Archeops — the First Bird Pokémon, the fully-evolved fossil-bird with 140 base Attack, 110 base Speed, and the franchise's most infamous Hidden Ability: Defeatist (offensive stats halve when HP drops to or below 50%). A genuinely powerful Pokémon hamstrung by one weird design choice — and yet a real competitive presence in lower tiers thanks to the same raw stat line. The 2012 Dark Explorers Full Art Ultra Rare at $74 is the line's grail; multiple modern chases stack behind it.

01Top 10 Notable Archeops Cards

Archeops's Top 10 is one of the deepest non-flagship Unova lists. The 2012 Dark Explorers Full Art Ultra Rare leads at $74 (a real vintage grail), a 2021 SWSH Black Star Promo sits in second at $21, the 2011 Noble Victories Holo at $12, and the 2025 White Flare Illustration Rare at $11. Four cards above $11 — a real flagship-tier upper structure for the proto-bird.
