07Why Collectors Want It
- The base Seel is a low-value common, but the Legendary Collection (2002) reverse-holo parallel trades around $77 raw.
- Legendary Collection introduced the first reverse-holo parallels in the hobby, and these early mirror foils are scarce and collected in their own right.
- Seel is the first stage of the Seel to Dewgong line, giving the card evolution-family appeal.
- As with other LC reverses, condition is everything: clean, unscratched mirror foil is hard to find.
08Competitive Playability

10Grading and Population
PSA 10 estimate: Not enough recent PSA 10 sales to cite a reliable figure.
PriceCharting PSA 10 sales data for this card is thin, so no gem-mint figure is cited here; LC reverse-holos generally carry a steep graded premium given how easily the mirror foil shows wear.
Other graders: BGS and CGC also grade vintage Pokemon; PSA dominates secondary-market liquidity.
