07Why Collectors Want It

  • Hitmonlee — the Kicking Pokemon, one half of the original Kanto Hitmon trio of Fighting-types.
  • Required for any complete Hitmonlee master set across eras.
  • Collectors of the Unseen Forces set need this card to finish it.

08Competitive Playability

Tier: None

Basic Hitmonlee with 60 HP; top attack around 40 damage. Functions as an evolution-chain piece rather than a tournament attacker.

09Card Moves and Abilities

Ability: Stages of Evolution

As long as Hitmonlee is an Evolved Pokémon, Hitmonlee's attacks do 20 more damage to your opponent's Pokémon (before applying Weakness and Resistance).

Stretch Kick Cost: Fighting

Choose 1 of your opponent's Benched Pokémon. This attack does 10 damage to that Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.)

10Grading and Population

PSA 10 estimate: Modern Common/Uncommon — most copies are not graded because raw value rarely justifies the fee.

Graded populations stay low; usually collected raw or sleeved rather than slabbed.

Other graders: Negligible BGS/CGC submission volume.
