07Why Collectors Want It

Legendary Collection (2002) introduced the first-ever reverse-holo parallels, inserted at low rates - so LC reverses are far scarcer than their base counterparts.
The ordinary non-holo Haunter trades for about $4.70, but the reverse-holo parallel commands ~$207 raw - a textbook vintage sleeper.
In PSA 10 it has realized roughly $5,590 (PriceCharting, May 2026); the mirror foil scratches and chips easily, so gem-mint survivors are rare.
Haunter is the fan-favorite middle stage of the Gastly to Haunter to Gengar line, drawing demand from Gengar collectors and reverse-holo specialists alike.

Tier: None

Stage 1 Haunter with 50 HP; top attack around 10 damage. Functions as an evolution-chain piece rather than a tournament attacker.

09Card Moves and Abilities

Ability: Transparency

Whenever an attack does anything to Haunter, flip a coin. If heads, prevent all effects of that attack, including damage, done to Haunter. This power stops working while Haunter is affected by a Special Condition.
