Yamask #562

Yamask — the Spirit Pokémon, a Ghost-type spirit that carries a mask resembling its own human face from a former life (Pokédex flavor: 'Yamask cries when it sees its own mask, remembering being human'). One of the franchise's quietly tragic Pokémon, with one of its darker backstories. Gained a Galarian Yamask (Ground/Ghost) in Sword & Shield that evolves into the totally different Runerigus — a separate evolution path that turns the line into one of the more interesting case studies in regional-form lore.

01Top 10 Notable Yamask Cards

Yamask's Top 10 is a thin list — the 2025 White Flare Illustration Rare leads at $8.14, with a 2021 Galarian Yamask shiny from Shining Fates Shiny Vault sitting in second at $2.21. The rest is sub-dollar BW/SWSH-era bulk. Two-tier structure with a modern chase plus a regional-form shiny chase, then the BW-era floor.

Rank 02

Galarian Yamask from 2021's Shining Fates Shiny Vault subset (#SV065) — the SWSH-era shiny-collection mini-set. The Galarian (Ground/Ghost) form is the one that evolves into Runerigus instead of Cofagrigus, which gives the shiny print extra collector pull from regional-form enthusiasts.
