The chase. 2025's White Flare brought the Black & White roster back as a throwback set, and Patrat's Illustration Rare is the kind of painterly full-art that turns a $0.20 lookout-meerkat into a $13 modern chase. Roughly 40× the next-priciest Patrat in the catalog — basically the only Patrat the secondary market cares about.

Patrat is bulk cardboard top to bottom — until you get to the 2025 White Flare Illustration Rare at the top, which gave the line its first real chase card after a decade and a half of penny-bin existence. Behind it sit the Plasma Storm Team-Plasma-era reprints, the original 2011 Black & White launch commons, and a long tail of XY/SM-era pack filler. Useful for completionists, ignorable for everyone else.
Plasma Storm was the early-2013 set built around Team Plasma's takeover storyline, and Patrat showed up in two reprint Commons. This one is the slightly pricier of the pair — minor edge from the popularity of the Plasma-era artwork.
View full card data →Boundaries Crossed was the late-2012 set best remembered for Black Kyurem and the launch of Team Plasma's competitive cards. Patrat got pulled into the Common slot for completeness — a clean pack-bulk reprint with no in-game pedigree but a nice tidy illustration.
View full card data →The second of the two 2013 Plasma Storm Commons — same set as #111, different art, almost identical price tier. Genuinely interchangeable bulk; the kind of pair only the Patrat completionist tracks.
View full card data →The original. One of two Patrats in the 2011 Black & White launch set that kicked off the Unova generation in English. Bulk for a decade — quietly inching up as the wider Unova nostalgia wave keeps lifting the early-route Pokémon along with the starters.
View full card data →Sister card to #77 — second 2011 Black & White Common Patrat, near-identical price tier. The original launch-set pair where every Unova kid first met the line; two arts, same set, both bulk.
View full card data →Emerging Powers was the late-2011 follow-up to Black & White and the first proper expansion of the Unova set list. Patrat's reprint here is essentially launch-bulk extension — same era, same price floor.
View full card data →Furious Fists was the 2014 Fighting-focused XY-era set. Patrat is a Colorless reprint here, oddly out of theme — the kind of bulk filler that appeared in sets totally unrelated to its generation.
View full card data →Guardians Rising was a 2017 Sun & Moon set centered on the Alolan Tapu legendaries — and Patrat happened to be along for the ride as a reprint Common. The most modern of the bulk Patrats before the 2025 White Flare revival.
View full card data →The Common-rarity Patrat from the same 2025 White Flare throwback set that produced the Illustration Rare chase. Pack bulk where the IR is the chase — and the cheapest verified Patrat in the catalog.
