07Why Collectors Want It

  • Final evolution of the Oddish line — its 1999 Jungle holo is a vintage chase.
  • Required for any complete Vileplume master set across eras.
  • Collectors of the Legends Awakened set need this card to finish it.

08Competitive Playability

Tier: None

Stage 2 Vileplume with 120 HP; top attack around 60 damage. Functions as an evolution-chain piece rather than a tournament attacker.

09Card Moves and Abilities

Ability: Energy Reaction

Once during your turn (before your attack), when you attach a Grass or Psychic Energy card from your hand to Vileplume (excluding effects of attacks or Poké-Powers), you may use this power. If you attach a Grass Energy card, the Defending Pokémon is now Asleep. If you attach a Psychic Energy card, the Defending Pokémon is now Poisoned. This power can't be used if Vileplume is affected by a Special Condition.

Disturbing Pollen Cost: Psychic + Colorless + Colorless · 60 damage

Flip a coin. If heads, your opponent can't play any Trainer, Supporter, or Stadium cards from his or her hand during your opponent's next turn.

10Grading and Population

PSA 10 estimate: Modern Common/Uncommon — most copies are not graded because raw value rarely justifies the fee.

Graded populations stay low; usually collected raw or sleeved rather than slabbed.

Other graders: Negligible BGS/CGC submission volume.
