1. Scope

This Policy explains what personal information we collect on holohaul.com (the “Site”), how we use and share it, and your rights. It applies to visitors, registered users, and paying members.

2. Information we collect

  • Account data: name (optional), email address, username, and password (stored hashed) when you register.
  • Payment data: when you subscribe, payments are handled by Stripe. Stripe collects and processes your card and billing details directly; we do not receive or store your full card number. We receive limited billing metadata (e.g. last 4 digits, subscription status, country) to manage your membership.
  • Usage and device data: pages viewed, searches run, approximate location, browser/device type, IP address, and similar analytics, collected via cookies and similar technologies (see Section 6).
  • Communications: messages you send us (e.g. support requests).

3. How we use information

We use personal information to: (a) provide and maintain your account and membership; (b) process payments and renewals; (c) operate, secure, and improve the Service; (d) respond to support requests; (e) send service and transactional emails (receipts, password resets, account notices) and, with consent where required, occasional product updates; and (f) comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud or abuse. Where required, our legal bases are performance of our contract with you, your consent, our legitimate interests, and legal compliance.

4. Third parties we share with (processors)

We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the Service, under appropriate agreements:

  • Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing (see Stripe’s Privacy Policy).
  • Google (Google Analytics / Site Kit) — website analytics and search performance.
  • Our website hosting provider — website hosting and storage.
  • Our transactional email provider — sending account and transactional emails.
  • Pokémon TCG API / pricing data providers — these provide card and price data *to us*; we do not send your personal information to them.

We do not sell your personal information for money. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

5. International transfers

Your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses) for transfers from the EEA/UK.

6. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential site functions (e.g. login sessions) and for analytics. Non-essential analytics/cookies are used only with your consent where required (EU/UK). 7. Data retention

We keep account and billing records for as long as your account is active and as needed to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations, after which we delete or anonymize them. Analytics data is retained per our analytics provider’s settings.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal information, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent.

  • EEA/UK (GDPR): the rights above, plus the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
  • California (CCPA/CPRA): rights to know, delete, correct, and to opt out of “sale”/”sharing”; we will not discriminate against you for exercising them.

To exercise any right, contact privacy@holohaul.com. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframe the law requires.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures (e.g. HTTPS, hashed passwords, reputable processors) to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

10. Children

The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
