Final evolution of the Pichu → Pikachu → Raichu line — evolves from Pikachu with a Thunder Stone. Home to the line’s vintage Base Set holo and a long run of GX/V prints.
Required for any complete Raichu master set across eras.

Tier: None

Stage 1 ex Raichu with 100 HP; top attack around 70 damage. Functions as an evolution-chain piece rather than a tournament attacker.

09Card Moves and Abilities

Ability: Rai-shield

Damage done to any of your Raichu ex in play by attacks from your opponent's Pokémon-ex is reduced by 30 (after applying Weakness and Resistance). You can't use more than 1 Rai-shield Poké-Body each turn.

Power Short Cost: Lightning + Colorless

Choose 1 of your opponent's Pokémon. This attack does 30 damage to that Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.) If that Pokémon has Poké-Powers, this attack does 30 damage plus 20 more damage.
